Job summary

A leading company in event management seeks an experienced sales professional to expand its HORECA business. The role requires managing significant sales targets, fostering relationships with clients, and leveraging wine knowledge to enhance brand presence. Ideal candidates will have over 10 years of experience in the industry, strong communication skills, and a proven track record in meeting sales KPIs.

Qualifications

  • Strong wine knowledge (WSET 3 or CSW preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years experience in HORECA, preferably hotels.
  • Achieve at least $1.5 million annual sales revenue.

Responsibilities

Job description

  • Meeting Sales Goals & Target, Negotiation, Selling to Customer Needs
  • Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects for HORECA business.
  • Achieve sales target, product mix and meet KPI
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Develop and maintain strategic business relationship with major accounts to promote brand awareness and profitable business relationships
  • Developing and executing channel sales strategies to increase the rate of sale of brands and SKUs especially for hotel and restaurant
  • Spearhead sales expansion, introduce new products or services to clients and organize visits to current and potential clients
  • Submit sales plans and prepare counter plan to reach nominated targets
  • Ensuring timely collection of account receivable

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • A strong wine knowledge (WSET 3 or CSW is preferred)
  • Min 10 years working experience with HORECA (hotel preferred)
  • Strong network and contact with HORECA especially with hotels
  • Capable to achieve minimum $1.5 million annual sales revenue
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a good command of English
  • Organized multi-tasker and follow-through skills are key success to this role
  • Attending and contributing to team meetings and sharing best practices with colleagues.
  • Possess a driving license will be an advantage
