Schutz Singapore Pte Ltd is a subsidiary of Schutz GmbH & Co, KGaA, Germany - a leading manufacturer of composite Intermediate Bulk Container and HDPE drums for the filling, storage and transportation of liquids.
We supply our Packaging systems to many of the world's leading chemical, petrochemical, Petroleum, Food & Beverage and Bio-Chemicals manufacturers throughout South East Asia and rest of the world.
Our Singapore plant is seeking a professional personnel who is driven by a strong passion to succeed to fill the vacancy of Sales Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- You will be directly responsible for the growth of sales of all SCHÜTZ Packaging System products and services in the designated region with a particular focus on the development of ECOBULK IBC and F1 Drums.
- To achieve greater market penetration of SCHÜTZ product and services across Singapore and surrounding locations by achieving & exceeding agreed sales targets, through development of new customers.
- You will represent SCHÜTZ in the regional market in a professional and ethical manner. To gain respect in the general market place for our firm as the supplier of choice for quality packaging solutions.
- To gain knowledge and understanding of developments in the industrial packaging market in the designated region, including the activities of our competitors, to better achieve sustainable sales growth.
- Develop, maintain and strengthen relationships with customers and to identify market trends, needs and opportunities and translate them into business success.
- Set challenging targets, effective measures and development activities for the sales teams.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Degree holder in Chemical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or a related discipline, with keen interest in Sales & Marketing.
- 2-3 years experience, preferably in Sales and Marketing role of an Industrial product. Serving customer in the following industry segments Chemicals, Food, Petrochemicals or Petroleum segments.
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A result-oriented, responsible and self-driven person.
- Possess good business acumen and a good track record in sales.
- A self-disciplined individual who possess a positive attitude and is willing to learn and a team player.
- Salary will commensurate with relevant experience.
