A leading fresh produce company in Singapore is seeking a Sales Executive to drive sales and foster strong relationships in the food service industry. The ideal candidate should have experience in the fresh produce sector, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain customer relationships. Responsibilities include managing existing accounts, identifying new opportunities, and maintaining accurate sales records.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading fresh produce company in the west as a Sales M/AM/Senior Executive. You will be responsible for driving sales and building strong relationships with key customers food service industry (hotels/clubs/restaurant/supermarket)
What you'll be doing
You would play the role of a hunter whos sole purpose is to drive up sales and revenue numbers for the company
Reach out to existing network of food service (hotels/clubs/restaurant/supermarket) buyers for meats, vegtables and fruits
Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities in the fresh service industry (hotels/clubs/restaurant/supermarket)
Manage and grow existing customer accounts by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best possible terms for the company
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth areas
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and pipeline
Provide regular reports and updates to the management team
What we're looking for
Proven experience in a sales role within the fresh produce/meat/fruits and vegetables industry is essential
Having an existing client database would be advantageous
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with the ability to manage complex customer accounts
Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with customers and internal stakeholders
Good understanding of the sales environment and the ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets
