Job description

Position Overview:
We are hiring a proactive Sales/Key Accounts Executive This role is critical to managing strategic client relationships, supporting trader activities, and streamlining operational workflows to ensure client satisfaction and business profitability. The ideal candidate will bridge sales, costing, and operations to drive growth and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Key Account Management & Sales Growth

  • Serve as the primary liaison for assigned key accounts (e.g., traders, distributors, bulk buyers), ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business.
  • Develop account-specific strategies to meet sales targets, negotiate contracts, and upsell/cross-sell products.
  • Conduct regular client reviews to address concerns, align on forecasts, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Providing excellent customer service throughout the sales process and after-sales.

2. Trader Support & Operational Coordination

  • Collaborate with the trading team to align client demands with inventory availability, production schedules, and delivery timelines.
  • Provide traders with client-specific insights (e.g., order patterns, urgent requests) to optimize procurement and inventory planning.
  • Resolve operational bottlenecks (e.g., delays, quality issues) impacting key accounts by coordinating with production, logistics, and quality teams.

3. Costing & Pricing Strategy

  • Analyze cost drivers (e.g., raw materials, logistics) and recommend pricing adjustments for high-volume or custom orders.
  • Share client feedback with procurement to identify cost-saving opportunities (e.g., bulk purchasing, alternative suppliers).

4. Operational Flow Optimization

  • Identify and address inefficiencies in order processing, documentation, or delivery workflows impacting key accounts.
  • Streamline communication between sales, trading, and operations teams to reduce lead times and improve fulfillment accuracy.
  • Managing sales teams, and providing support where needed.

5. Reporting & Analytics

  • Generate monthly reports on account performance, records of client interactions ,operational challenges, and cost-saving initiatives for management review.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales , key account management or supply chain operations (experience in manufacturing/distribution preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data, cost reports, and operational metrics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for managing internal/external stakeholders.
  • Experience working with traders or in commodity-driven industries is preferred.
  • Knowledge of logistics, inventory management, or procurement processes is an added advantage.
