Job description

Location: Southeast Asia

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement sales strategies for office software to achieve regional revenue and growth targets.
  2. Identify and prioritize business opportunities in key Southeast Asian markets.
  3. Build and manage partnerships with local distributors, resellers, and system integrators.
  4. Strengthen relationships with channel partners to ensure optimal coverage and performance.
  5. Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team.
  6. Set clear sales objectives, monitor team performance, and provide regular feedback and coaching.
  7. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform product positioning and sales strategies.
  8. Work with the marketing team to localize campaigns and promotional efforts for target markets.
  9. Build long-term relationships with enterprise clients, understanding their needs to provide tailored solutions.
  10. Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals.
  11. Coordinate with product, marketing, and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions to clients.
  12. Provide feedback to R&D teams on local market needs and feature requirements.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of sales experience in the software industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing sales in office software or related sectors.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Southeast Asian markets, particularly in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand.
  • Diploma’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of software sales cycles, licensing models, and SaaS/PaaS solutions.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve aggressive targets.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision making.
