Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Singapore is seeking a seasoned data analytics professional to drive financial insights and forecasting. You will analyze financial and sales data, build models, and automate reporting to provide timely, actionable business insights.

You will communicate findings to finance and non-finance stakeholders, collaborate with cross-functional teams on planning, and contribute to annual and long-term business planning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, finance, or BI.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science or quantitative field.
• Advanced analytical and financial expertise.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Deliver data-driven insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Build and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, scenario planning, and investment decisions.
• Automate reporting and KPI visibility with dashboards and reports.
• Analyze variances between planned and actual results and present recommendations to management.

• Partnering with cross-functional teams and strategic planning efforts to provide analytical support, address data needs, and contribute to annual and long-term business planning.
• Relevant professional experience with 5+ years in data analytics, finance, business intelligence, or a related field.
• Strong academic foundation with a bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or another quantitative discipline.
• Advanced analytical and financial expertise with a solid understanding of financial principles, data analysis, and business performance management.
• Technical proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to use data and financial analysis to address complex business challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience presenting insights and working effectively across functions and stakeholder groups.
