Overview
Join our team as a Sales Executive, Medical, and promote quality pharmaceutical, OTC and medical device products within Singapore’s dynamic healthcare sector. You will work with a diverse customer base across public and private hospitals, institutions and specialist clinics. This field-based role requires strong communication skills, scientific understanding, and a passion for sales excellence.
Responsibilities
- Promote and recommend assigned pharmaceutical products and/or medical devices to healthcare professionals (HCPs) including doctors, pharmacists, and hospital procurement teams, based on customer needs and treatment protocols.
- Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve sales targets and team objectives.
- Manage assigned accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, timely delivery, and consistent follow-up through close collaboration with internal customer service and logistics teams.
- Analyse sales and customer performance to identify sales opportunities and new leads.
- Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for healthcare professionals.
- Attend conferences, exhibitions, and other events to promote assigned products.
- Gather market intelligence on competitor products and unmet customer needs.
- Provide feedback on customer preferences and product demand to marketing and management teams.
Requirements
- Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Nursing or Biomedical Sciences.
- 1–3 years of experience in medical sales, pharma detailing, or device sales preferred (entry-level with high drive and interest in healthcare may be considered).
- Experience in Cardiology, Psychiatry, Ophthalmology or Wound care is a plus.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Customer-focused and results-oriented.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to manage a territory effectively.
- Proficiency in data analytics, CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
- Class 3 driving license with own transport is a plus.
Salary Range
Basic salary + transport allowance + commission/incentives (commensurate with experience)
