A global leader in legal and tax solutions seeks a Sales Executive - Legal & Tax Solutions to drive new business and manage accounts across Singapore, China, and Taiwan.

Client Details

Our client is a global provider of legal and tax solutions, offering expert research, regulatory content, and technology-driven platforms, including software solutions tailored to the legal and tax industries. They collaborate closely with major law firms, multinational corporations, and advisory firms to help them navigate complex regulatory environments. As part of their growth strategy in Asia, they are now seeking a Sales Executive - Legal & Tax Solutions (Relationship Partner) to drive business development and expand strategic accounts across Singapore, China, and Taiwan.

Description

  1. Focus on driving new business acquisition (70%) and managing renewals (30%).
  2. Leads the full sales process, including discovery, value demonstration, proposal delivery, negotiations, and closing for assigned territory.
  3. Develops relationships with key stakeholders at both prospective and current clients, gaining insights into the customer's overall business and needs.
  4. Leads the renewal process, including communications, proposal delivery, negotiations, and close.
  5. Serves as the primary point of contact for clients, facilitating support from other internal resources as needed.
  6. Collaborates closely with the Client Service Partner to identify additional sales and growth opportunities, providing world-class service for existing clients.
  7. Leads in-person client meetings and consultative conversations with senior stakeholders (General Counsel, Heads of Tax, Legal & Commercial Directors).
  8. Collaborates cross-functionally with marketing, product, and client service teams to provide market feedback and improve go-to-market strategies.
  9. Builds and maintains a strong pipeline through outbound efforts (email, phone, events) and inbound leads.
  10. Manages a portfolio of accounts across Singapore, China, and Taiwan, with additional exposure to Malaysia and Indonesia.
  11. Tracks all activity through Salesforce, meeting/exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs.

Profile

  1. Bachelor's degree minimum.
  2. 5+ years' experience in SaaS or tech-enabled solution selling, ideally in legal, tax, or compliance sectors.
  3. Client-facing experience with the demonstrable ability to identify new prospects, build, and maintain solid client relationships.
  4. Proven track record of new business acquisition and consistently meeting quotas.
  5. Self-starter with a strong hunter mentality, able to manage and develop a sales pipeline from scratch.
  6. Strong communication and presentation skills, with a focus on value-based selling.
