A leading company in the food industry is seeking a Sales Executive specializing in Japanese sake. You will be responsible for driving sales, developing client relationships, and exploring new business opportunities. Job Title: Sales Executive (Japanese Sake)
Monthly Salary: UP to $5000 (Negotiable)
Working Address: Tanjong Pagar
Working hours: 5 days work week Mon-Fri.
Event will be held on weekends once in a month
Responsibilities and duties
The Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales of Japanese sake, identifying and developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. This role plays a key part in achieving sales growth, fostering client partnerships, and expanding the company’s presence in the food industry, directly contributing to its overall revenue and success.
•Manage the sales of Japanese alcoholic beverages (including Japanese sake, shochu, and others) by targeting restaurants, hotels, and other business opportunities in Singapore.
•Maintain a deep understanding of the product offerings and effectively communicate their benefits to clients.
•Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned key accounts in the food service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
•Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory or market segment.
•Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service.
•Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to effectively position companies’ products in the market.
•Handle enquiries, sales, quotations and other tasks assigned
•Assist the physical shops team as retail sales 1 day a week to ensure smooth operations.
•Provide support in physical shops by recommending sake to guests, answering inquiries about sake, and assisting with pairing suggestions.
•Other ad-hoc jobs as assigned.
Qualification and Requirements
・ BtoB Sales experience especially in F&B, FMCG industry preferred.
・ Outgoing and friendly personality with good communication skills.
・ Able to work flexible working hours to support the physical store. (The physical store closes at 9:00 PM, and shift work will apply on days when working)
・ Able to work flexible working hours (some evenings will be required since some of the restaurants only open during nighttime, shift work will apply.)
・ Interest in Japanese Sake
・ Able to communicate in Chinese to work closely with Chinese speaking clients and vendors.
・ Proficiency in Japanese will be a plus, to liaise with Japanese-speaking clients and vendors
・ Basic MS office skill (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
