A highly reputable multinational company within the chemical industry is currently seeking a dynamic and driven sales professional to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work with innovative products, engage with diverse markets, and contribute to the growth of a global leader known for its commitment to quality, sustainability, and customer excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by following up on leads, sample requests, and potential prospects.

  • Negotiate optimal commercial terms and develop both short- and long-term sales strategies aligned with organizational pricing, marketing, and sales objectives.

  • Provide timely updates on business activities within assigned markets, including customer interactions and market trends, using tools like CRM. Flag any risks or opportunities and propose action plans to enhance results.

  • Support business development activities such as product launches, promotions, and market testing initiatives under guidance.

  • Collect and analyze market intelligence, including pricing trends and competitor behavior, and share insights with the sales and marketing teams.

  • Build and nurture internal relationships across departments (e.g., procurement, technical, and marketing) to support business growth.

  • Conduct customer visits to promote and explain product offerings, provide technical guidance, and manage project development in collaboration with clients.

  • Coordinate with various internal departments (e.g., logistics, finance, operations) to ensure smooth fulfillment of customer orders from placement through to payment.

  • Update and maintain accurate sales forecasts as needed.

  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner, ensuring follow-up communication is provided.

  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events to support awareness and introduction of new and existing products.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2–3 years of sales or business development experience, preferably in the chemical or manufacturing industry.

  • Strong understanding of chemical products, formulations, or industrial applications is an advantage.

  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver sales targets.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Comfortable with regular customer visits and occasional travel within the region.

  • Proficient in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing client needs.
