A leading company in Singapore is seeking a Sales Executive to develop and implement sales strategies, manage customer relationships, and analyze market trends. The ideal candidate will have a Polytechnic Diploma, at least 2 years of experience, and proficiency in sales methodologies. This role offers opportunities for professional development while working closely with various departments to enhance the customer experience.
As the Sales Executive, you are expected to perform the following key responsibilities:
Develop sales strategies
• Create sales strategies and set personal targets to drive performance.
• Conduct market profiling to identify potential market segments and customer profiles
• Analyse sales channels using customer profiles to enhance performance
• Gather customer feedback to improve sales target development.
• Monitor competitors and customer demand for market insights.
• Utilize data to forecast sales trends and make informed decisions.
Create sales opportunities
• Build relationships with networks and leads to support sales goals.
• Follow up with leads to increase potential customer base
Acquire sales accounts
• Understand customer’ business cycles to identify their current and future business needs.
• Collate relevant information for sales proposals
• Negotiate sale agreements and follow-up to close sales.
• Analyse unique buyer requests to deliver customised solutions
• Explain the benefits and details of various food solutions that appeal to buyers requirements.
• Collaborate with Finance and Operations to ensure timely payment.
Manage customer relationships
• Gather customer feedback and requirement to enhance food product offering
• Analyse customer data and purchasing behaviour to enhance food product offerings.
• Escalate requests that deviate from sales agreement and address any buyers dissatisfaction.
• Provide post-sales support on product knowledge related to product and/ or product offerings.
Support initiatives and sales reporting
• Contribute in technology implementation projects
• Review records to determine the effectiveness of sales and procurement SOPs
• Plan continuous work improvement activities and performance improvement strategies
• Prepare and present regular sales updates and reports to manager
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and results.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Superior.
Requirements
• Minimum Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years working experience in related field.
• Proficient in various sales methodologies to drive performance
• Skilled in conducting market research and analysing customer behaviours.
• Proficient in interpreting sales data to make informed strategy decisions.
• Experienced in preparing and presenting comprehensive sales reports
• Ability to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking customers
• Skilled in maintaining good relationships with colleagues and customers.

• Strong ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently
