Job description

We are looking for highly motivated individual who enjoys sales and client servicing. You will be tasked to sell a refreshing destination for retreats, meetings and celebrations. The unique venue is also suitable for intimate and cosy wedding with rustic and quaint twist. Join us if you have an interest and passion in events and wedding!

  • Responsible for selling packages related to weddings & events services

  • Proactive in securing and manage sales and events to achieve monthly sales objectives

  • Develop new markets and strengthen customer base

  • Collect business information from customers/markets

  • To be involved in all sales related activities such as roadshows, blitzes, trade shows whenever necessary.

  • Engage in event execution, ensuring a unique, innovative and personalized guest experience.

  • Schedule and conduct effective sales appointments and site visits on banquet and meeting facilities

  • To prepare Event Orders to include all details of event including room set-ups, staging, lighting, audiovisual, traffic flow, menus, décor, entertainment, group room blocks and VIP services

  • Plan and conduct pre-event and post-event meetings with clients and catering colleagues to ensure customer satisfaction and guest experience

  • To participate in developing of promotions, action plans and marketing strategy with the team.

  • Coordinate effectively with operational departments to facilitate events and ensure quality and customer satisfaction.

  • Credit management of sales accounts and handle any sales administration (with assistance of sales coordinator)

  • Consistently offer professional and friendly and engaging service with both clients and colleagues

  • Assist in training and orientating new join and/or junior members of the team when tasked

  • Assist in any other task, duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management.

Job Requirement
  • Candidates with interest in Sales & Hospitality are welcomed

  • Candidates with at least 1 Year of catering or banquet sales experience in a hotel or event venue or sales experience in other fields with proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales target and a interest in hospitality can be considered for senior role

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities

  • Proficient in MS Office

  • Proficient in Hotel Sales System (e.g. Delphi, Opera) will be of advantage

  • Able to multi-task, work under tight deadlines and in as fast paced working environment

  • Pleasant personality with a customer-first mindset and team-player attitude
