Job summary

A leading construction materials company in Singapore is seeking a Sales Executive to manage customer enquiries and sales activities. You will be responsible for supporting marketing functions, conducting site visits, and building a network with construction companies. The ideal candidate has at least a diploma in business administration, strong communication skills, and a self-motivated attitude. Experience in sales is preferred, along with a basic knowledge of cement technology.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience in sales is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of cement and concrete technology.
  • Must possess computer literacy for reporting purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage sales activities and customer enquiries.
  • Provide sales support to internal departments.
  • Conduct site visits to discuss delivery requirements.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Manage Sales Activities including address customers' enquiries, invoices & delivery orders, sales order processing, initialling of quotations and collection of payments.
  • Perform support to sales admin & marketing functions.
  • Site visit / meeting to discuss on delivery requirement. Updating data, filing and others sales support.
  • Provide inside sales support to internal department to ensure team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Other Ad-hoc sales & admin duties assigned.
  • Follow up marketing channel management.
  • Propose and conduct build-up of an efficient net-work of distributors in assigned territory.
  • Co-operate with distributors to implement sales and/or marketing activities/programs in the assigned market.
  • Co-operate with distributors working with their customers such as retailers, contractors, specifies to gain some key sales & marketing objectives in respect of sales volume, market coverage, retail chain-efficiency and so on.
  • Build up networking with construction companies, contractors, specifiers, board of project management.

Qualifications

  • Possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Graduate Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration / Management Studies / Sales & Marketing or equivalent.
  • Having a minimum of 1 years working experience in sales will be an added advantage.
  • Possess basic materials and market trend knowledge
  • Knowledge of cemen and concrete technology or building materials
  • Knowledge of latest product trends and activities
  • Must be computer literate and have basic computer skills for reporting and presentation purposes
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and independent
  • Possess own vehicle
