Job summary

A leading marine service provider in Singapore is seeking a motivated sales professional to promote and sell their products and services. The ideal candidate will have proven sales skills and a background in engineering, with a preference for experience in the Marine, Offshore, or Oil & Gas industry. Responsibilities include managing accounts, conducting site inspections, and ensuring client satisfaction. Travel may be required.

• Experience in Marine, Offshore, or Oil & Gas industry is an advantage.

Job Description:

• Promote and sell the company’s products and services to existing clients and develop relationships with new prospects.
• Manage and grow assigned accounts by providing consistent and effective service.
• Handle daily RFQs & generate quotations,
• Conduct site inspections and perform basic measurements to support quotation preparation.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections from clients.
• Participate in local and overseas exhibitions to represent the company and explore new business opportunities.
• Attend to vessels in shipyards and at anchorage, as required.
• Assist in formulating and implementing business strategies to retain existing clients and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Travel overseas when necessary to support business activities.

Requirements:

• Proven sales skills including presentation, negotiation, client relationship management, and prospecting.
• Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Prior experience or educational background in engineering is preferred.
• Experience in the Marine, Offshore, or Oil & Gas industry is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel locally and overseas as part of the job.
• This position is based in the Tuas area; candidates with their own transportation are preferred due to the nature of the role and the need for customer visits.
