The Sales Executive will focus on developing new accounts in Singapore, with a priority on Industrial Sales and ideally, EMC/RF knowledge. The role involves selling UL’s products, systems, and services, emphasizing prospecting and direct sales to penetrate untapped markets in the industrial sector, with a strong focus on new business development. 100% hunter role
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning and executing sales strategies, acquiring new accounts aggressively, and maintaining client relationships to drive growth and meet revenue targets.
- Promote and sell UL services with a consultative, "hunter" approach, leading presentations, handling objections, preparing quotes, and closing deals, focusing on high-potential clients while retaining existing ones.
- Build and manage prospect pipelines, overseeing the new business process from prospecting to close.
- Actively pursue new prospects through market research, tradeshows, direct mail, cold-calling, and referrals, understanding decision-makers and purchasing needs.
- Target industrial clients with EMC/RF testing needs, understanding their technical and compliance requirements to tailor solutions effectively.
- Collaborate with the technical team to align testing capabilities with client requirements.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant sales experience.
- Extensive expertise in specialty products/services within the assigned TIC portfolio and deep knowledge of the Singapore industrial market.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, especially in new account penetration roles.
- Experience in enhancing company branding, including organizing large-scale seminars.
- Self-motivated, fast learner and result-oriented with a resilient and solution-driven mindset.
- Basic knowledge of EMC/RF and Cybersecurity test standards would be an added advantage.
