Sales Executive

(for a European MNC in electrical, engineering modules, components company for MRO requirements, such as in Oil & Gas industry)

Role summary:

To attend to assigned accounts and sales enquiries, pursue and follow up all enquiries to translate to sales, and actively develop sales opportunities for the range of Company’s products while achieving the sales targets set by the Company.

Roles:

1. Manage assigned key accounts, attending to daily MRO sales, project bids, and ongoing projects on commercial and technical matters.
2. Work closely with his/her manager/supervisor to meet Company’s set objectives and targets.
3. Initiate, promote, and develop sales opportunities for the assigned products to achieve the desired growth in business volume.
4. Identify and establish new customers and new business opportunities to ensure successful market penetration and development.
5. Co-ordinate between all stakeholders (factory, finance/logistics, agent/customer) to ensure smooth execution and delivery of awarded projects.
6. Prepare and support due documentation for pre- and post-project requirements.
7. Conduct regular visits to customers to maintain good rapport and solicit feedback, services/support, and other market information.
8. Process customers' orders through the Sales Executive (Indoor).
9. Monitor customers' payment schedules and collect payments from customers when necessary.
10. Gather competitors' market and sales information such as pricing and promotions from customers and feedback to management.

Requirement:

1. Diploma in a related field, preferably in Sales & Marketing.
2. Knowledge of basic electrical engineering subjects will be a plus.
3. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
