Kikkoman Trading Asia Pte Ltd seeks a passionate individual for a Sales & Business Development role. You'll manage customer accounts, explore new business opportunities, and work closely with various teams to promote Kikkoman products. Your interpersonal skills and interest in the food industry will drive success.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Manage existing customer accounts, ensuring excellent service and relationship building.
Identify and develop new business opportunities in retail, foodservice, and B2B sectors.
Promote Kikkoman products to distributors, supermarkets, restaurants, central kitchens, and food manufacturers.
Conduct regular store or customer visits to monitor product displays, pricing, and competitor activities.
Support execution of sales campaigns and trade promotions to achieve volume and revenue targets.
Sales Operations & Coordination:
Prepare sales quotations, product presentations, and proposals as required.
Track and manage customer orders, deliveries, and payments in coordination with internal teams.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactions using CRM or Excel tools.
Assist with pricing updates, stock planning, and monthly sales reporting.
Market Feedback & Collaboration:
Gather customer and market feedback and relay it to the team for product and strategy improvement.
Work closely with the marketing, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth sales execution.
Liaise with HQ in Japan and regional partners as needed for product inquiries, updates, or coordination.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Passion for food and genuine interest in the food industry
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated, customer-focused, and results-driven.
Possession of a valid Singapore driver’s license
