Job description

We are seeking a results-driven SALES EXECUTIVE to grow and manage our sales channel through Interior Designers, Electrical and low-voltage contractors. This individual will play a crucial role in building relationships, driving specifications, and executing sales strategies that increase adoption of Steinel’s advanced sensors and lighting controls in commercial and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to target electrical contractors, low-voltage contractors, and integrators.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers including project managers, estimators, and business owners.
  • Conduct product presentations, technical trainings, and job-site consultations to support adoption and installation of Steinel systems.
  • Track contractor pipelines, influence project specifications, and ensure follow-through to purchase and installation.
Qualifications
  • 1+ year of sales experience in the electrical, lighting, or building automation industry with a strong contractor focus.
  • Proven track record of building and managing contractor relationships in a territory-based or national role.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn and occupancy sensor, lighting, and control technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter.
