Sales Executive
Job description
Responsibilities
- Attend to sales enquiries, prepare quotations, negotiate trade terms and follow-up for closing the deal.
- Maintain regular communications with customers and address customers’ needs in a timely manner.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals.
- Acquire related technical knowledge to answer customers queries, attend meetings and perform product demonstrations.
- Obtain regulatory approvals and accreditations for products to boost marketability.
- Provide periodic sales reports and forecasts to the sales manager.
- Conduct regular market research and analysis to stay ahead of demand, supply, competitive and pricing trends.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and other lead generation activities.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
- Related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Candidate should hold at least a Diploma or an Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any discipline.
- At least 2 years of demonstrated experience as a Sales Executive or in a comparable sales role within the construction industry.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Proactive and able to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Possession of a Class 3 driving license is an added advantage.
