A leading logistics company based in Singapore is seeking a Business Development Executive. The role focuses on expanding the customer database, maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets. Candidates should have experience in the freight forwarding industry, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Business & Customer Development
i) Expand the customer database by identifying and acquiring new clients.
ii) Follow up on sales leads and prospects, targeting to acquire these leads as new customers
iii) Maintain accurate records and data related to customer accounts and shipments
iv) Foster strong relationships with existing and potential customers to establish a sustainable business development pipeline.
v) Develop and implement a monthly sales plan to achieve growth targets.
vi) Keep abreast of industry developments and trends by conducting market research
vii) Collaborate with internal departments to strategize and integrate sales initiatives, ensuring seamless communication with Operations to meet or exceed customer expectations
viii) Lead ECU's digital transformation by actively promoting and integrating digital solutions.
Day to Day Operation
i) Prepare customer quotations in response to requests
ii) Monitor and manage fluctuations in customer volume while addressing lost accounts.
iii) Design and execute effective sales campaigns.
iv) Supervise and support CS assistants by providing customer information and overseeing tele-calling efforts for new and existing clients.
v) To review and prepare monthly performance sales performance reports.
Requirement -:
1) Minimum educational qualification required ‘O’ level or diploma
2) Prefer with min 2 years experience in our line (NVOCC, Freight Forwarding)
3) A great attitude and self motivated individual
4) Excellent written and communication skills
5) A proven track record of achieving sales targets and building customer relationships.
6) Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
7) Maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
8) Intermediate computer skills.
