Job description

Ideally 1 year of experience in a similar capacity. Industry experience is not essential.

Ideal for internship, or fresh graduates looking to learn about Sales in hotel environment.

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma.
  • Entry Level candidates with desire to build a career in sales are most welcome to apply.
  • Main administrative duties include maintaining clients records, managing sales contracts and updating internal databases.
  • Assist in general administration support for sales office.
  • Stock check and control of events operating materials and equipment in office.
  • Organize and maintain clients records.
  • Enjoys organizing social and corporate events.
  • Participate in Sales projects (help organize a Travel Agent Nights, Corporate Nights, Promotional events and other events).
  • To ensure that an efficient and accurate filing system, both manuals as well as electronically is maintained at all times.
  • The administrator maintains good communication with the internal and external vendors.
  • Other duties which may be assigned from time to time.
  • Reporting directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing, his/her responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

o Administer the day-to-day operations for the Sales Department.

o Maintains a forward-thinking mindset to achieve the department and overall property goals.

o Be an example of Brand Standards, and a champion of grooming and appearance guidelines.


Requirements:

  • Hands on experience with Opera software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • A team player with high level of dedication
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines
  • Certification in Marketing, Sales or relevant field is a plus
  • Carries a positive attitude and enjoys new challenges – strives to learn and take on ownership.
  • Able to start immediately is preferred.
