Job summary

Trust Recruit Pte Ltd is seeking a Sales Engineer to develop and grow sales for our Vacuum Pumps range in Singapore. You will work with customers to understand application requirements, propose suitable solutions, and provide technical and after-sales support.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, 1–2 years in engineering, and strong communication skills. Driving licence (Class 3) is a plus; location is Joo Koon, Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (required).
• 1–2 years in engineering field (preferred).
• Experience in after-sales service is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable vacuum pump solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales reports.
• Follow up on sales opportunities and customer enquiries.
• Coordinate and support after-sales service activities.
• Conduct product presentations and technical discussions with customers.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Position: Sales Engineer (Vacuum Pumps)

Location: Joo Koon

Salary: Up to $6,000 + up to $1,200 (Transport allowance)

Working hours: Mon – Fri, 9am - 6pm

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and growing sales for our Vacuum Pumps product range, achieving sales targets, and supporting business growth. They will work closely with customers to understand their application requirements, recommend suitable solutions, and provide technical and after-sales support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
• Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable vacuum pump solutions
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales reports
• Follow up on sales opportunities and customer enquiries

About you

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 1 to 2 years of experience in the engineering field
• Experience in after-sales service will be an added advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Possess a valid Class 3 driving license
