About The Job

Reporting to the Senior Environmental and Shipowner Sales Manager, you will collaborate with customers to develop or improve Decarbonisation strategies. Your responsibility is to deliver and secure profitable growth within the Marine division by closing direct sales of Alfa Laval products and services, aligned with the South East Asia Sales Company goals.

Based in Singapore, you will manage assigned customer relationships, formulating and executing long-term account strategies between Alfa Laval and the customer.

This is an individual contributor role without direct team reporting.

Job Description
  1. Follow established sales processes to promote and sell Alfa Laval solutions in the Marine industry.
  2. Work with customers to develop or improve Decarbonisation strategies.
  3. Analyze market insights and customer buying behavior to plan sales strategies aligned with division targets.
  4. Manage leads from the market and convert them into business opportunities to ensure a healthy pipeline.
  5. Engage actively in the market through visits, meetings, and interactions, focusing on understanding customer needs and demonstrating the value of our products and services.
  6. Develop customized proposals to meet customer requirements, advocating value-based selling, and follow through to achieve performance targets.
  7. Use CRM and other tools consistently to support the sales process and inform decision-making.
What You Know
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering or related field from a recognized university.
  2. 2-3 years of experience in sales, service sales, or after-sales, preferably in the Marine industry.
  3. Good understanding of maritime sustainability regulations and emerging technologies.
  4. Proven track record of developing and executing sales strategies and exceeding targets.
  5. Strong data analytics skills, with experience using offline and online channels to grow sales.
  6. Proactive, service-minded, customer-focused, with the ability to take quick action.
  7. Self-motivated team player willing to initiate and drive new initiatives.
