Job description

Job Descriptions:

1. Strategic Direction & Alignment
  • Provide strategic leadership and ongoing support to existing distributors across Southeast Asia to ensure alignment with internal Business Unit goals and priorities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to communicate clear expectations, performance metrics, and business objectives to the distributor network.
2. Market Development & Expansion
  • Develop and implement market-specific strategies in partnership with distributors, tailored to unique regional and segment needs.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to appoint, onboard, and develop new distribution partners in underrepresented or high-potential territories.
3. Sales Enablement & Competitive Positioning
  • Support partners in effectively positioning the company’s instruments against competitive offerings, highlighting unique value propositions.
  • Work closely with distributors to help them achieve their individual sales targets and contribute to the overall regional revenue goals.
4. Performance Monitoring & Feedback
  • Conduct structured quarterly performance reviews with distributors, providing constructive feedback and action plans for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor distributor KPIs and proactively address any gaps in execution or market coverage.
5. Engagement & Support Activities
  • Strengthen the distributor network through active involvement in customer visits, technical trainings, exhibitions, seminars, and other market-facing activities.
  • Serve as a regional liaison to ensure distributors have access to the necessary resources, marketing tools, and product knowledge.
6. Market Intelligence & Insights
  • Track and analyze industry trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity in the region, providing timely insights and recommendations to internal teams for strategic planning.

Job Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in managing distributors.
  • At Least a degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Science (with a foundational understanding of Chemistry).
  • Technical knowledge or experience in scientific or analytical instruments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
