Job description

• Position: Sales Engineer / Sales Manager
• Location: Bukit Batok - shift to Jurong in Sept 2025
• Working hours: 5 days, Mon to Fri (8.30am to 5.30pm)
• Salary (commensurate on experience): Up to $5200 + $500 Transport allowance + AWS + Variable Bonus + 14 Days Annual leave + Parking claim + Wellness benefit : Extra 2 days AL & $200 incentives if eligible + Overseas claim
• Duration: Permanent
• Industry: Marine Navigation system -MNC

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for receiving and reviewing customers’ technical specification and requirements, for the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for the timely submission to customers
• Support the respective Area Sales Manager/Sales Manager for the assigned Sales Area for tender bid clarification
• Attend clarification meetings with customers when required.
• Responsible for all associated handover documentation in the event of an order
• Develop and deliver technical solutions presentations to the customers
• Work closely with the Project and Service departments for project execution
• Maintain and foster excellent relationships with all internal stakeholders as well as external customers, suppliers and partners
• Attending trade show exhibitions, conferences and other marketing events

Requirements:

• At least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
• At least 1 to 2 year(s) of working experience in the marine industry
• Occasional overseas travelling is required
• Preferably with own transport
• Knowledge of Navigation Equipment in the Marine Industry will be an advantage
• Experience with handling ship owners, ship managers and shipyards accounts will be an advantage
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese speaking clients who converse in Mandarin only
