Specific Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities and propose potential business deals by contacting potential customers, decision makers, and target accounts. Screen potential deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and evaluating options.
- Work closely with local, regional, and global teams to close new business deals using persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential key accounts/customers to do business with PS. Collaborate to establish long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers across organizations.
- Establish, cultivate, and maintain key relationships with end customers, influencers, and contractors, in conjunction with distribution partners and direct engagement.
- Build opportunity pipelines with Sales and end customers, progressing through sales stages until deal closure. Ensure data accuracy within PS’s CRM and sales/project management system.
- Establish budgetary forecasts and sales volume targets for the SEA DC market.
- Collaborate with Sales to assess distribution involvement to ensure success in closing business and project opportunities. Provide project guidance for pricing and quotations to the distribution network.
- Identify and support strategic alliances to expand PS solutions, products, and services, leveraging business networking into additional markets.
- Provide front-line Data Center marketing and technical support to distribution partners and dealers as needed.
- Analyze sales and market data to inform senior management decision-making.
- Promote PS at trade events and associations. Collaborate with Marketing and Engineering to create and present technical papers and white papers for marketing collateral, trade journals, and conferences.
Travel
- This position requires travel up to 50%.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 8 years of relevant sales experience in the power generation business.
