Job summary

A well-established manufacturer in Singapore is looking for a dynamic Sales Engineer to develop and execute sales plans in the region. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in industrial sales. Responsibilities include promoting products, providing technical support, and organizing training sessions. This role requires excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial sales, preferably in electrical installation systems.
  • Experience working with consultants/specifiers and understanding of specification processes.

Overview

Our client is a well-established German-based manufacturer specializing in electrical and building installation systems. Due to ongoing growth and expansion in, they are looking to hire a dynamic and technically proficient Sales Engineer to join their local team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales plans to grow the customer and distributor based in the assigned region
  • Conduct regular visits to consultants, contractors, and project sites to promote products and generate qualified leads
  • Organize and deliver product training sessions and technical seminars for partners and clients
  • Provide comprehensive pre- and post-sales technical support, ensuring high customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and report on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
  • Prepare and submit timely sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates
Requirements
  • Minimum a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years\' experience in industrial sales, preferably in electrical installation systems or related technical products
  • Experience working with consultants/specifiers and understanding of specification processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset
  • Strong technical aptitude, able to explain complex systems in a clear and practical manner
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to manage time effectively in a field-based or independent role
