A leading company in the marine industry is seeking a Sales Engineer to develop sales strategies and manage customer relationships for flow control products. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Mechanical Engineering, at least 3 years of sales experience, and solid technical knowledge of marine valves. This permanent position offers a competitive salary, allowances, and a performance bonus, with opportunities for travel within the SEA region.
Position: Sales Engineer (Marine Industry/Marine Valves)
Location: Bukit Batok
Working hours: Monday to Friday (8.30am - 5.30pm)
Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $6,000 + Transport Allowance + Attractive Commission Scheme + Mobile Allowance + AWS + Performance Bonus

Main Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies for flow control products, systems and valves for the marine industry
Identify and source new business leads to expanding the customer base
Handle MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations), NB (New Build), and allocated projects with efficiency and expertise
Develop sales plans to achieve sales target
Understand customer's requirements and advice technical issues
Build and nurture relationships with both potential and existing customers
Prepare quotations and orders in NAV and ensure timely follow-up with customers
Requirements:
Bilingual in both English and Mandarin to converse with Mandarin speaking clients
A recognised Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 3 years of sales experience
Relevant experience in Marine Industry is a must
Solid technical knowledge of marine valves, valve control products and system experience
Travel within SEA region is required
Proficient in MS Office and computer literate
