A leading company in IoT solutions seeks a Sales Manager to drive market expansion in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in B2B sales, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to foster key partnerships in technology-driven sectors. This role includes developing sales strategies, managing a team, and engaging with high-profile clients for long-term contracts.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share in IoT smart metering, energy management, and remote telemetry solutions across Southeast Asia and beyond.
Lead, mentor, and manage the performance of the sales team, setting clear objectives and ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets and KPIs.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, key accounts, and channel partners in the smart city, utilities, industrial, and infrastructure sectors.
Maintain strong relationships with government agencies, contractors, system integrators, and large enterprise clients to secure long-term contracts and framework agreements.
Prepare and present tailored solution proposals, technical presentations, and commercial offers in coordination with pre-sales and engineering teams.
Conduct competitor and market analysis to inform pricing strategies, solution differentiation, and go-to-market tactics.
Drive participation in industry events, exhibitions, and roadshows to enhance brand visibility and lead generation.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and operations to ensure customer satisfaction and solution alignment.
Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports with detailed forecasts, risks, and opportunity mapping to senior management.
Monitor customer feedback, industry regulations, and emerging technologies to inform future sales strategies and product innovation.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Proven track record in selling technology or IoT-related solutions.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
