Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer with a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Graduation in Science, and experience in the HVAC or Consumer Durables industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for sales, with a deep understanding of HVAC systems and consumer durables products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and generate sales in the HVAC and consumer durables sectors.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including contractors, distributors, and end customers.
- Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a strong understanding of HVAC systems, consumer durables, and related technologies. Provide technical support and advice to customers on product selection and usage.
- Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to develop sales strategies and improve offerings.
- Technical Presentations: Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to clients and stakeholders.
- Quotation and Proposal Preparation: Prepare technical and commercial proposals for clients, ensuring alignment with their needs and specifications.
- After-Sales Support: Provide post-sales support, including troubleshooting, maintenance recommendations, and customer service.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and project management teams to ensure successful product delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 2-5 years in sales or technical support in HVAC systems, consumer durables, or related fields.
- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, consumer durable products, and related technologies.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record in sales, with the ability to identify and close new business.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical customers.
- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to provide effective solutions.
- Customer-Focused: A customer-centric approach to understand and address client needs.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and site visits.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with specific HVAC systems or consumer durables brands.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales software.
- Knowledge of energy-efficient and environmentally friendly HVAC solutions.
