Your new role

  • Cultivating and strengthening relationships with both existing clients and new prospects across key industry sectors
  • Assessing customer challenges and recommending tailored chemical solutions and product formulations
  • Delivering clear, technically informed presentations to communicate product value and application
  • Supporting clients through product evaluations, trials, and implementation phases
  • Leading commercial discussions, including pricing, contract terms, and service agreements
  • Tracking industry developments, competitor movements, and client insights to inform product strategy
  • Partnering with internal R&D and manufacturing teams to align offerings with customer specifications
  • Representing the company at industry exhibitions, conferences, and client meetings
  • Generating accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to support business planning

What you'll need to succeed

  • A degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline, such as chemical engineering, applied chemistry, or industrial sciences
  • 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in technical sales or engineering roles, ideally within a manufacturing or process-driven environment
  • Familiarity with industrial chemical systems and their practical applications
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and deliver compelling presentations
  • Confidence in translating complex technical concepts into clear, client-friendly language
  • Flexibility to travel locally and occasionally abroad, depending on business needs
