A leading company in the lighting industry is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive sales and marketing efforts. This role involves building relationships with key clients, preparing presentations, and ensuring project completion. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and have at least four years of experience in the construction industry.
The role and responsibilities include, but not limited to;
1) Sales & marketing our company’s services and products
To forge strong relationships with key clients.
To promote Koizumi brand of products and create product awareness.
To prepare sales and technical presentation materials.
To explain product features during live demonstrations / presentations.
To do product updates via email to clients.
To maintaining samples for sales team.
2) Handle sales enquiries generated by company
To attend site walks / surveys.
To match customer requirements to proposed solutions.
To understand all technical aspects of a product and explain them to potential consumers.
To prepare sales quotations and tenders.
To negotiate contract terms.
To follow-up on inquiries both via email and calls.
To help clients solve problems with product usage.
To secure orders and ensure product delivery.
3) After sales service (trouble shooting and maintenance)
To manage projects, monitor progress and ensure smooth completion.
To coordinate the works of a multi-disciplinary workforce including consultants, external subcontractors and etc.
To provide project status update to management accurately and in a timely manner.
To attend to maintenance issues during DLP.
4) To do other adhoc duties assigned.
Requirements
At least a Diploma/Degree holder in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or Marketing or Business
Min. 4 years’ experience as an Engineer in local construction industry
Motivated to work in challenging, fast paced and result-driven environment
Good communication and leadership skills
Knowledge of lighting an advantage
Product training will be provided
