Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow assigned customer accounts across various sectors (e.g. automotive, industrial and medical).
- Identify and penetrate new business opportunities to expand market presence.
- Support design-in efforts in collaboration with customers' engineering and R&D teams.
- Understand product roadmaps and proactively update customers on relevant changes, including end-of-life (EOL) notices.
- Follow-up on sales leads, RFQs, quotation, and coordinate order processing to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports and forecasts.
- Serve as a key point of contact for customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
- Work together in resolving technical and commercial issues with the support from principals and product team.
- Liaise with principals on pricing, availability, technical queries, and new product introductions.
- Provide market feedback to suppliers for continuous product and service improvement.
- Regular visit to customer sites for business reviews, design support, and relationship building.
- Travel overseas for customer meetings, principals visit, or trade shows as required.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities.
- Offer insights and recommendations to enhance sales strategies and pricing competitiveness.
Job Specifications:
- Diploma holder in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the electronic components industry.
- Experience on electronics component distribution will be an advantage.
- Willing to travel locally and internationally as required.
- Self-motivated, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Capable of working independently and within cross-functional teams.
