Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for sales activities on company’s products and services, mainly in the semiconductor segment, partial in marine and oil & gas industries.

2. Drive revenue growth from existing customers and solicit new customers and accounts.

3. Identify, develop and follow up on opportunities in the market.

4. Formulate sales strategies and action plans to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

5. Provide market intelligence on customer activities, competition, and sales forecasts to direct supervisor.

6. Be the main contact point for customers to fulfill their business needs, maintaining and managing key customer relationships.

7. Coordinate relevant business and service activities, ensuring smooth execution and customer experience.

8. Keep abreast of latest changes, including customer business updates and acquiring relevant knowledge on competitor products and markets.

9. Prepare costings and quotations, and submit quotations to customers.

10. Follow up on customer queries after quotations submitted.

11. Assist in materials sourcing and purchasing.

12. New tasks will be assigned as necessary to drive sales revenue.

13. Update on customer visits and sales pipeline on a weekly basis.

14. Provide frequent visits to existing and new customers.

15. Furnish weekly sales reports to superior on sales pipelines and new sales opportunities.

16. Report to Sales Manager.

Requirements

1. Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

2. Good written and verbal communication in English.

3. Able to use Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

4. Independent, self-starter, team player, eager learner, initiative, respectful, and responsive.

5. Experience in the semiconductor front end and facility segments or industrial sectors is an added advantage.

6. Possess good electrical knowledge.

7. Able to attend site visits and assist in installations of our products when needed.

8. Possess Class 3 driving license (not necessary to have own vehicle as there is a company van available).
