A leading company in the logistics sector is looking for a Sales Manager to lead development and execution of effective sales strategies. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, with a focus on fostering exceptional customer service and driving revenue growth. Applicants should possess a bachelor's degree in supply chain management or logistics with at least seven years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
LLead the development and execution of sustainable sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth, enhance brand visibility, and support market expansion.
Direct and coach sales managers, ensuring KPI targets are met while promoting continuous improvement in leadership and communication skills.
Oversee the delivery of exceptional service aligned with customer supply chain needs, fostering strong collaboration with Operations and Customer Service teams.
Manage pricing strategies and rate sheet creation, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency in the rates database in coordination with IT support.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, enhance service offerings, and maintain robust client relationships through ongoing engagement and contract management.
Ensure the implementation and compliance of SOPs and process maps, monitor performance through KPIs, and uphold HPL’s standards for health, safety, and quality.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics.
Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in sales management, preferably in the logistics sector.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Effective communicator capable of working in multicultural environments with both customers and vendors.
Proven leadership ability with excellent communication and team management skills.
