Job description

We are looking for an experienced and driven Sales Director, to lead commercial growth across our client's leading events, including the management of sponsorship and exhibition sales for a portfolio of high-profile regional events. Based in Singapore, this is a senior, hands-on role responsible for delivering revenue targets, developing key client relationships, and expanding our presence throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

The ideal candidate is a confident sales leader with a consultative approach, strong media and event sales experience, and a deep understanding of the APAC business landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to exceed monthly and annual revenue goals.
  • Lead both new business development and key account management across the APAC region.
  • Sell across a wide range of solutions, including digital media, data, event sponsorships, and other content.
  • Manage pipelines, sales forecasts, and budgets in collaboration with internal teams such as Finance, Operations, and Executive Leadership.
  • Promote the value of our APAC events to clients and agencies, highlighting competitive advantages and market relevance.
  • Oversee and support the regional sales team, driving performance and collaboration with international counterparts.
What We’re Looking For
  • 10+ years’ experience in business development and account management, and 5+ years in media and event sales.
  • Proven success in meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Deep understanding of the APAC region and established industry networks.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Self-motivated, strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across departments and regions.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
