Pay Range: $2,500 – $3,400/month (Depending on Experience)
Commission: Variable commission package (for selected client accounts)
Work Schedule: Minimum 5.5-day work week, weekend availability required

Job Description

We are looking for a Sales Coordinator to support operations at our office and central kitchen, assisting in managing customer orders and helping to grow our customer base for cakes and pastries.

Responsibilities

  • Handle customer inquiries and orders via email, phone, and WhatsApp
  • Prepare quotations, invoices, and sales-related documents
  • Maintain accurate sales records and customer databases
  • Coordinate with kitchen and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Support account management for existing clients and help develop new business opportunities
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand pastry sales to hotels and businesses
  • Identify and establish new business opportunities through networking and cold leads
  • Manage and cultivate relationships with existing customers to increase satisfaction and sales
  • Collaborate with management to create promotional campaigns and marketing materials
  • Prepare and present sales materials to existing and potential clients
  • Conduct physical meetings with chefs, F&B managers, and customers for product presentations, tastings, and relationship building
  • Monitor market trends and competitors’ activities
  • Build up and broaden The Cake Factory’s customer base
  • Ensure adherence to company operational standards and SOPs
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned (e.g., stock take, basic admin tasks)

Requirements

  • Team player with a good learning attitude and interest in the pastry or food industry
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Sales-driven with a proactive and organised work style
  • Comfortable with face-to-face client meetings and product discussions
  • Able to work a minimum of 5.5 days per week
  • Experienced and non-experienced candidates are welcome to apply
