Job description

Our client is one of the world's leading manufacturers and is headquartered in Singapore for its South-East Asian operation. The role of the Sales Coordinator is to assist the sales team with backend administrative operations to achieve departmental success.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for order processing, quotations, and invoicing.
  • Assist customers with sales inquiries via phone and email.
  • Follow up on inquiries and close orders.
  • Work closely with sales personnel and provide them with updates when necessary.
  • Coordinate and monitor deliveries and inventories for customers.
  • Responsible for new product quotations and dispatch of product samples.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and record details of inquiries, comments, and complaints, if any.
  • Provide pricing and delivery information to clients.
  • Perform customer verification and set up new accounts.
  • Verify, correct, and update account information.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Business or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of International and Southeast Asia sales/business operations is a plus.
  • Minimum 1 year of shipping experience and shipping knowledge.
  • Able to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced, and challenging environment.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
  • Has a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Has initiative and a positive learning attitude with a pleasant disposition.
  • Customer-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision.

Additional Information:

  • Located at Tuas.
  • 5-day work week.
