Location: City Hall

Working hours: 09:00 - 17:00

Compensation: AWS + VB

Our client, a Japanese distributor of plastic bags and film products, is looking for a Sales Coordinator to join their Singapore office. Reporting to the Director, this role will support the Director in the daily operations of the business, including but not limited to liaising with customers in Japan and suppliers in other parts of Asia.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To liaise with the customers and suppliers on product issues and delivery schedules.
  • To create purchase orders & shipping documents.
  • To update purchase and sale prices.
  • To create sales & purchase reports.
  • To facilitate audits of supplier factories as instructed by customers.
  • To provide interpretation between English, Japanese, and Mandarin during meetings and audit sessions.
  • To coordinate and plan for business trips of management coming from Japan on an ad-hoc basis.
  • To assist with accounting and any other back-office duties in a small office environment.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management.

Job Requirements:

  • At least a Diploma.
  • JLPT level 2 and above to speak with and write to Japanese customers and the parent company in Japan.
  • Ability to speak and write in Mandarin is required to communicate with factories in China.
  • Basic Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
