A leading company is looking for a Sales Operations Assistant to oversee sales operations and assist customers in the sales process. The role involves maintaining databases, organizing files, and performing data entry while ensuring efficient communication. The ideal candidate has a minimum diploma in relevant fields and strong interpersonal skills.
Duties & responsibilities:
· To assist and oversee day-to-day sales operations, coordinate with sales team, customers, and internal teams
· Assists customers in the sales process, helping them resolve any concerns or questions they may have while processing, tracking and shipping orders efficiently.
· Identify and create lists of potential clients while maintaining databases of sales.
· Compiling daily lists of leads and delegating them to sales team associates
· Maintaining an accessible and organized filing system for sales and administrative professionals
· Handling all administrative duties for the sales department or team
· Providing assistance to management team members and executives as needed
· Performing data entry duties in regards to metrics, sales figures and other key data,
· Creating and processing sales orders in a timely manner
· Expediting requests rush orders and altering sales orders and shipping information as required
· Sale Marketing activities including/not limited to follow up on Newsletter, Seminar/Events, Website and social media
Requirements
· Excellent interpersonal skills: Able to work efficiently within a team and ability to complete tasks and make decisions independently.
· Computer literacy: Knowledge in Microsoft CE is an added advantage
· Time management and organization: Able to use a variety of organization methods, including calendar management, to handle multiple projects at one time and completing tasks efficiently and quickly.
· Customer service: Have strong professional conversation etiquette, especially in person and over the phone when interacting with company representatives and customers.
· Communication: Clear communication and the ability to explain concepts in simple terms are used to help the customer work through problems and accurately describe products.
· Problem-solving: Able to use critical and creative thinking to identify and resolve issues with products and orders.
· Independent: Able to work independently and collaborate effectively across departments
Qualifications
Minimum Diploma, in areas including business, economics and marketing.
