BASIC FUNCTION
Provide administrative support generating business reports, month end report for the hotel and implementing all sales activities handling sales inquiries
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing administrative support to Sales Department.
- Processes in-coming correspondence, and ensure that correct information is disseminated to all relevant parties to ensure prompt follow-up from the sales team
- Ensures high standard of administration in the department by maintaining proper client records and profile on the database
- Checking leads received from Marriott Channels – MI Leads, CI/TY, Cvent, MarRFP & Other source and disseminates to the respective Manager in-charge to follow-up
- Maintains and controls department stocks and ensure a sufficient supply of all collateral materials
- Maintains direct sales involvement in handling customer’s enquiries and leads
- Performs other related duties and special projects as and when assigned by the Director of Sales & Marketing
- Follow up on weekly and monthly report from Sales person
- Handling direct inquiries and distributes sales leads to the respective Manager
- Work in line with business needs
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Management
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Sales, or a related field.
- 1–2 years’ experience in hotel sales, events coordination, or administrative support roles. No experience is welcomed to apply as well.
- Strong knowledge of hotel systems and software, particularly PMS/POS platforms (e.g., OPERA, Micros).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and capable of preparing accurate sales reports and tracking metrics.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiar with internal processes related to sales, contract management, and revenue tracking.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across departments.
- Experience with Marriott systems and handling Marriott Bonvoy points is an advantage.
