Job description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Sales Order Desk Team Leader to lead the order processing function and support seamless coordination across internal departments. You will oversee daily order operations, ensure timely processing and accuracy of documentation, and step in to support customer service when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:
    Supervise the Sales Order Desk team to ensure smooth and efficient order processing operations.

  • Sales Order Processing:
    Oversee the accurate and timely entry of customer orders, including verification of order details and pricing.

  • Delivery Coordination:
    Work closely with the logistics and warehouse teams to plan and monitor delivery schedules to meet customer expectations.

  • Invoice Management:
    Ensure timely uploading of invoices to customer portals and that all supporting documentation is complete.

  • Document Verification:
    Perform matching of Purchase Orders (PO), Delivery Orders (DO), and Invoices to ensure consistency and resolve any discrepancies.

  • Ad-hoc Orders:
    Manage and process urgent or non-standard orders with flexibility and speed.

  • Customer Service Support:
    Stand in as a Customer Service Officer during manpower shortages, assisting with customer inquiries and issue resolution.

  • Process Improvement:
    Recommend and implement process enhancements to improve order accuracy and team efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales order processing or a similar function

  • Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Business Central Will be a Bonus

  • Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
