A leading engineering firm in Singapore seeks a Sales & Contract Manager to drive business growth and oversee contract administration for precast technology projects. The Role:
The Sales & Contract Manager drives business growth and oversees contract administration for engineering and construction projects, with a strong focus on precast technology. This
person manages the full sales cycle, cultivates client relationships, and ensures the timely
execution of commercial contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
· Lead and execute the entire sales cycle for precast concrete solutions, from prospecting and proposals to contract closure and project delivery.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for all contract and sales matters.
· Foster strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors and partners.
· Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow precast construction market share.
· Identify new opportunities and client segments in Singapore's construction industry.
· Advise on pricing strategies, product offerings, and potential areas for business expansion.
· Negotiate pricing, terms, and project scope with prospective clients.
· Provide regular reports on sales performance, contract status, and market conditions to senior management.
Contract Management:
· Prepare, review, and execute project contracts in compliance with industry standards.
· Oversee all contractual obligations throughout the lifecycle of precast construction projects and provide regular updates to clients and internal teams.
· Collaborate with finance, legal and technical teams to resolve contractual issues or disputes.
· Ensure projects comply with regulatory requirements and internal governance.
Team Collaboration:
· Work closely with project management, engineering, factories, and procurement teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
· Participate in the continuous improvement of sales and contract processes to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Pre-Construction Expertise:
· Leverage in-depth knowledge of precast systems, processes, and applications in project development.
· Provide technical and commercial input during the proposal and planning stages.
· Consult with site and design teams to ensure feasibility and constructability of precast solutions.
· Stay up to date with advancements in precast technology and market trends.
Key Requirements & Qualifications:
· Excellent negotiation, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with proven success in closing deals and managing multiple contracts.
· Minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
· Minimum 7 years' experience in construction sales and contract management, with significant exposure to precast construction.
· Leadership experience and ability to work across departments and cultures.
· Strong familiarity with Singapore's construction codes, precast building techniques, and sustainable construction practices.
· Strong understanding of costing and taking off in the construction sector.
· High proficiency in MS 365; Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams and various reporting, presentation tools.
· Experience with contract management, ERP systems, and CRM software.
