Job Description:

We are hiring a capable and proactive Sales & Carpentry Operations Manager to oversee both the commercial and operational aspects of our carpentry workshop. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in interior fit-out, carpentry works, and project coordination, while being able to manage sales leads, costing, workshop tasks, and basic bookkeeping.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Project Coordination
  • Generate new leads and manage follow-ups in a structured lead sheet

  • Prepare quotations, perform costing calculations, and submit proposals to clients

  • Attend site visits and client meetings to understand scope and expectations

  • Handle project handovers and conduct basic quality inspections before delivery

Costing & Procurement
  • Prepare and file detailed costing sheets for every project

  • Track material usage and project margins

  • Order materials from suppliers based on job requirements

  • Maintain and organize cost records and supplier databases

Admin, Invoicing & Collections
  • Issue invoices and delivery orders to clients

  • Follow up on outstanding payments and maintain records

  • Perform basic bookkeeping for carpentry-related projects

  • Coordinate with accounts team for monthly financial summaries

Workshop & Production Oversight
  • Supervise carpentry production schedules and delivery deadlines

  • Ensure workmanship quality and compliance with client requirements

  • Act as the point of contact between sales, production, and suppliers

  • Assist with workshop logistics and manpower coordination where needed

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in interior design, carpentry, or renovation field

  • Familiar with site operations, materials, and cost structure

  • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Sheets

  • Good communication skills in English and Mandarin (to liaise with workers/suppliers)

  • Highly organized, with good attention to detail

  • Class 3 license is an advantage

Work Location:

Kaki Bukit workshop + site visits as required

Salary:

Basic + Sales Commission + Performance Bonus
