Job description

Our client is a global trading company specializing in the procurement and distribution of plastic raw materials. They have an immediate requirement for a Sales & Business Development Manager.

They are seeking an experienced, target-driven candidate to expand their market presence in Southeast Asia,
South Asia, and/or the Middle East. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales,
preferably in plastics, chemicals, or recyclables.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop new business opportunities and nurture existing client relationships in Asia market aligned
with corporate objectives.
• Drive B2B sales of plastic resins (virgin, off grade & reprocessed), and other related materials
• Identify market trends and customer needs to develop strategic sales plans
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
• Collaborate with logistics and procurement teams to ensure timely and efficient service
• Prepare monthly sales reports and forecasts for management

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Materials Science, Business, or a related field (master's preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in business development or sales in the polymer or chemical
industry, with a strong focus on the Asia-Pacific region.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in one or more Asian languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, Korean) is a
strong plus.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel frequently across Asia.

Work week : Mon-Fri
Salary : based on experience
