We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales & Business Development Executive to drive our growth within the Machine Tool & Automation Industry in Singapore. Key Responsibilities:
1. Prospecting & Lead Generation:
- Identify and research potential clients through various channels (networking, cold calling, industry events, and digital platforms).
- Qualify leads to ensure alignment with the company’s target market and strategic objectives.
2. Client Engagement & Relationship Building:
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Understand client needs and challenges to tailor solutions effectively.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
3. Sales Planning & Strategy:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities.
4. Solution Development & Proposal Management:
- Collaborate with technical and application to design customized solutions that meet client requirements.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, quotations, and sales presentations.
5. Negotiation & Closing:
- Lead contract negotiations, addressing client concerns and ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Drive the closing of deals, ensuring smooth transitions from sales to product / project delivery.
6. Account Management & Growth:
- Manage existing accounts to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and long-term business growth.
7. Sales Reporting & CRM Management:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports to management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record in sales or business development, preferably in the machine tool, automation, or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
