A leading logistics company in Singapore is seeking a Sales Business Development Executive to enhance client relations and coordinate successful shipping operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in sales and logistics with proven interpersonal and communication skills to drive customer delight and meet sales targets.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in Sales - Business Development.
  • Preferably with logistics and freight forwarding background experience.
  • Possess at least Diploma/Degree Certificate in Logistic or any Certification/training in Sales related.

Responsibilities

  • Source for new clients and ensure professional sales service.
  • Coordination with customer service, operations and finance department.
  • Submit monthly reports on sales activities/account development.

Responsibilities and Duties

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Source for new clients

  • Ensure professional sales service are provided profitably to the customers with our objective to go for Customer Delight

  • To follow up on new shippers, Sales-lead and routing orders assigned

  • To submit monthly reports on the general sales activities/account development to the management

  • Coordination with customer service, operations and finance department to ensure that customers' requirements are met at all times

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain contacts with airlines, trade, industry and government bodies to keep abreast of information and economy / market developments

  • To undertake new projects / assignments given by the company from time to time

Basic Requirements

  • To ensure profitable businesses are generated with the objective of achieving Customer Delight

  • To ensure the sales targets / desired results agreed with management are achieved

  • Daily shipping co-ordination of shipments by air, sea (export/import/3rd party/local delivery).

Job Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Sales - Business Development

  • Possess at least Diploma/Degree Certificate in Logistic or any Certification/training in Sales related (eg. Telemarketing, Negotiation Skills)

  • Preferably with logistics and freight forwarding background experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to work independently and as a team player

  • Possess good communication skills to ensure that customers and internal stakeholders

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
