Job summary

Guardian Health & Beauty is seeking a Retail Sales Associate in Singapore to drive store sales and deliver exceptional customer service. You will engage customers, promote products, support promotions, and maintain a welcoming shopping environment.

The role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays, while upholding store standards. You will build customer relationships, assist with stock, and contribute to team training to ensure smooth daily operations

The Role

• Achieve individual and support store sales targets and profitability goals through proactive customer engagement and effective selling techniques
• Take ownership of sales performance by identifying opportunities to maximise sales, increase basket size, and promote relevant products
• Contribute to the successful execution of sales initiatives, promotional activities, and product launches
• Monitor personal sales performance and take appropriate actions to achieve agreed
• Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs and providing professional product recommendations and solutions
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat purchases and customer loyalty
• Create a welcoming and positive shopping experience that reflects the company's service standards
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and in a timely manner, escalating issues when appropriate
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, visual merchandising, and store presentation to enhance the customer shopping experience
• Ensure products are displayed, replenished, and priced accurately in accordance with company guidelines
• Support daily store operations to ensure the store is well organised, customer-ready, and always operating efficiently
• Assist in stock ordering, replenishment, and inventory management to ensure product availability and minimise stock shortages
• Participate in stock counts and inventory control activities to maintain stock accuracy
• Safeguard company assets and support loss prevention initiatives by adhering to security procedures and reporting discrepancies promptly
• Adhere to company policies, standard operating procedures, and regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards
• Ensure all operational activities are carried out in compliance with established guidelines and service standards
• Support a safe, secure, and compliant retail environment for customers and colleagues
• Work closely with team members to achieve sales and operational objectives
• Maintain effective communication within the store team to support smooth daily operations
• Participate actively in training and development programmes to enhance product knowledge, sales capabilities, and customer service skills
• Share relevant information and best practices to support overall team performance
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Reporting Manager
