A leading company in the freight forwarding industry is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales and client relationships. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of relevant experience, a track record of meeting sales targets, and the ability to develop new business opportunities. Job Description
➤Identifying and developing new business/clients by sales/cold-calling and any other sales activities.
➤Generating new sales leads, negotiating contract and closing sales.
➤Responsible for meeting or exceeding expected sales targets.
➤Attending to customers feedback/complaints and following up with high-quality sales services.
➤Acting as the customers' main point of contact, by liaising closely with the relevant departments to ensure and deal with their queries, problems, or issues appropriately.
➤Preparing periodical reports.
➤Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
➤Establishing, developing and maintaining existing business and customer relationships.
➤Researching the market to identify viable potential clients and narrow down prospects.
Job Requirement
➤At least 5 years of experiences across freight forwarding industry
➤Experience in Oil & Gas, Aerospace, Mining, Healthcare, Semiconductor, Hi-Tech, Chemical, FMCG/Consumer market will be considered with priority.
➤Sufficient knowledge in Freight Forwarding (Air & Sea).
➤Demonstrable track record of over-achieving sales target.
➤Proper reporting in timely manner about sales activity
Competency
➤Must be brisk, active and quick work
➤Need quick response and reporting in case of any irregularities
➤Must be accurate with regard to create the report
➤Must be time-bound on job completion (i.e. within the set turn-around time, need to complete task)
