A leading company is seeking a technically focused sales professional to manage relationships within the utility and industrial markets. This role emphasizes consultative sales and requires a degree in Electrical Engineering along with substantial experience in related sectors. The successful candidate will engage decision-makers to ensure customer satisfaction and drive sales growth, facilitating technical solutions and after-sales support.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including Switchboard OEMs, EPC contractors, consultants, and end-users within utility and industrial markets.
Manage after-sales service enquiries including site surveys, preventive maintenance, retrofits, spare parts, replacements, and training support.
Collaborate closely with authorized local partners and representatives to expand market presence, support joint engagements, and grow sales.
Leverage local partners’ networks with OEMs, contractors, and consultants to quickly build trust and industry credibility.
Utilize channel partners for day-to-day sales activity and after-sales service handling, ensuring prompt and localized customer support.
Engage and influence decision-makers within the customer ecosystem to manage objections, align stakeholder interests, and secure project wins.
Apply consultative, value-driven sales approaches to effectively differentiate offerings and strengthen market competitiveness.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales or account management within switchgear, transformer, or power equipment sectors.
Proven success in selling transformer-related products and managing after-sales support.
Experience in industries like Utilities, Renewables, Oil & Gas, Rail, Manufacturing, Data Centers, and Infrastructure is highly preferred.
Solid understanding of transformer technologies, SMART GRID applications, and HV transmission/distribution systems.
Ability to translate technical specifications into customer-focused solutions and proposals.
Track record of consultative, value-based selling with complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
